This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
