I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
